Well one thing we know that is consistent with Apple, is the morning of a new product launch or a refresh, they take the Apple store offline. Today, the entire Canadian website is offline. We have tried from many devices and confirm the site is hard down.
Perhaps excessive traffic from anxious Canadians looking for the white iPhone 4 has something to do with it? In any case, the US Apple website, and Store are both online with no mention of the white iPhone 4.
Stay tuned for more information as Tek Tok will keep you up to date on the situation.
UPDATE #1: If you are unable to access http://www.apple.ca , you can workaround this by going to http://store.apple.com/ca to access the online store. Thanks to Kevin for this great tip!
UPDATE #2 – Apple website appears to be resolving at this time. Not sure what the issue was but they are back up for business.

Btw Apple.com front page has been updated with a white iphone 4 “available tommorow”. Guessing the changes are being made for the Canadian site right now, that is why the front page is down
