Ok, well this video is the coolest thing since…last year….when SoundMan Car Audio installed an iPad into the dashboard of a Toyota Tacoma.

The folks at SoundMan Car Audio were able to pick up an iPad 2 on launch day, and also complete the in-dash installation. There is not much to say here other then..saweet.

If any Canadian installers would like some media attention and has the skills to pull this off, we are ready and willing!

    I am totally doing this in my car this spring…. with a cheaper 7 inch Android tablet though 😉

    Except 7″ Android tablets are more expensive than the iPad2! And why would anyone do this anyway?? Now only half of the iPad’s features are functional! Just build a custom iPad dock in your dash so you can actually remove it and utilize it’s portability, gyro, accelerometer, and rear camera. Wits-dim!
