Lexus LFA unveiled [Video]

It has been 20 years since Lexus introduced the very first Lexus, and this vehicle represents a special milestone for the Lexus brand. The Lexus LFA is a super luxury car and unfortunately is no longer available in Canada.

This 552HP 4.8L V10 is unique and features a Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) cabin to reduce the weight of the vehicle. Only 20 of these vehicles are being hand built each month for 25 consecutive months, producing 500 limited edition vehicles.  The base price of the Lexus LFA is approximately $400,000 CDN if you can find one. We were on hand for the unveiling of the Lexus LFA and this car sounds hot! Check the video for yourself.

I was very impressed with the interior design and cockpit area. The LCD meter is comprised of multiple layers almost appearing to be 3D. (no glasses are required) I am not sure we will see many Lexus LFA on the streets of Toronto, unless Robert Herjavec (Dragons Den) has pre-ordered one. (Who are we kidding, you know he must have.)

There is also speculation Paris Hilton was given a Lexus LFA for her birthday from her boyfriend, Cy Waits.
